Nearly $100,000 in funding has been awarded to Eastern Health employees towards the purchase of comfort and care items.
Eighty-two grants were handed out by the Health Care Foundation as part of their Comfort and Care program.
Funding will be used to purchase items such as therapeutic recreational tools, blanket warmers, and other mobility aids.
Recipients of funding were awarded their grants at a ceremony held earlier this week in St. John’s.
