Two popular natural tourism destinations have reopened to the public.
The Cape St. Mary’s and Mistaken Point ecological reserves are open for the summer tourism season until Friday, October 13.

The rocks at Mistaken Point, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, contain the fossilized impressions of some of the earliest complex life forms on the planet. It hosted 238 guided hikes to more than 2,000 visitors last year.
The Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve meanwhile recorded more than 14,000 visitors last season.
