A trampolinist from Newfoundland and Labrador is bringing home two gold medals from the 2023 Pan American Junior Trampoline Championships.
19-year-old Gleb Evstigneev, who trains out of Campia Gymnastics, was one of the athletes selected to represent Canada at the event. He won gold in senior trampoline, as well as gold in the synchronized competition alongside partner Etienne Cloutier of Quebec.
The win is the latest in what has been a stellar year for Evstigneev. He won gold at the Canada Winter Games in PEI.
