Dog breeders and dog lovers will be gathering in Torbay this weekend for a dog show by the Avalon Kennel Club.
Dogs of all breeds will be competing, including a national award-winning Hungarian breed not commonly seen in this province according to kennel club spokesperson, Rhonda Coady.
The Komondor is owned by a member of their board. Coady describes the large livestock guardian as like a hippopotamus with a coat like a mop.
The show takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Torbay Commons, formerly known as the Kinsmen Centre in Torbay.
