The three levels of government are spending about $1.5 million on water, sewer and roadwork in Whitbourne.

The federal government is pitching in $610,000, provincial government $765,000 and the town itself $150,000.

The work, which focuses on Brigus Road, includes replacement of the sewer lift station.
