Police are investigating an incident in which a teenager was assaulted during a party in a field near the Torbay Bypass Road this week.

The attack is believed to have occurred just before 11:30 Tuesday night in woods off the bypass road, just west of Torbay Road.

It was reported to police 12 hours later, late Wednesday morning.

RNC say the victim, a 16-year-old boy, suffered injuries that required medical attention.

They’re also seeking witnesses or video of the incident.
