People on the Baie Verte Peninsula say closures of the ER are escalating, not decreasing, and they’re planning a rally to draw attention to what they see as a serious problem.
Many emergency rooms have to put up the closed sign because of a shortage of doctors and nurses, but people in the catchment area of the hospital in Baie Verte say the closures there are getting out of hand.
A rally is set for the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre at 7:00 Tuesday morning.
