A fundraiser for Brother Rice Junior High is bringing together a number of notable performers.
The Ultimate Variety Show, hosted by the popular local drag queen Barbra Bardot, will feature Come From Away Broadway stars Petrina Bromley and Astrid van Wieren, as well as members of the Gander cast.

The Domestics, Land of the Lakes, Vuelo Directo, Rachel Cousins and a number of other performers will also be hitting the stage at Holy Heart Theatre on Sunday, June 18.
The event has been put together by parents, students, teachers and school alumni—many of whom have a connection to the school.

Performer and organizer Rhona Buchan says the show hopes to be inclusive to appeal to people from a number of different backgrounds, with all funds going back into the school community.
Money raised will support a number of initiatives including music, athletics, and innovation programs. They’re also hoping to support food programs, something she says the school is in need of.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Heart Theatre. Tickets are available at the box office.
