The Interim Superintendent of the English School District says he’s disappointed and discouraged that in 2023 rallies like the one outside Confederation Building on Friday afternoon still have to be held to defend inclusive education and stand with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

That said, Terry Hall was encouraged by the turnout sending a strong message to those sowing and spreading hatred in the community.

“We do outnumber those that do want to spew hatred and want to spread falsehoods about inclusive education and the importance of it” says Hall “so a physical presence is very powerful.”
