An airline on the lower end of the cost scale is shutting down.

WestJet has announced that they will be folding Swoop Airlines into the main brand.

Swoop currently flies out of St. John’s and Deer Lake to Toronto and Hamilton.

WestJet says the move is in relation to the deal struck with their pilots last month.

Swoop will continue to fly until October.
