The three people accused of abducting a St. John’s teen last week have all had their bail hearings set over to Wednesday.
63-year-old Erin Bast, 69-year-old Frederick Cyril Boone, and 72-year-old Wilbur Jerome Crockwell all appeared separately in St. John’s provincial court today.
Bast and Boone are both charged with child abduction and conspiracy to do so.
Crockwell, who is from New Brunswick, faces similar charges, as well as a charge of luring a child online.
The situation started out as a missing persons case, then just under a week later police issued an amber alert for the missing 14-year-old girl.
Crockwell was apprehended later that night in Badger, while the girl, Bast, and Boone were all located in a cabin on the Bay D’Espoir Highway early the next morning.
The three accused will appear in court again Wednesday morning.
