Police say they do not know how long they will be scouring homes belonging to two men accused of sexually assaulting teenage boys.
Nor will they say what they’re looking for.
The RNC descended on the Hussey Drive properties in the east end of St. John’s on Thursday, two months after arresting the owners.
Police believe neighbours Bruce Escott, 80, and Tony Humby, 62, worked together to take in vulnerable youth and abuse them, dating back to 2007.
They remain in custody pending their next court appearances in mid-July.
The RNC got a warrant to search the properties this week and say they will be there around the clock for at least the next few weeks.
The Rovers ground search and rescue team is also assisting police at the scene.
