The annual Ride For Dad in support of prostate cancer awareness and research went off without a hitch, or rain, this morning in St. John’s
Hundreds queued up in the parking lot of Newfoundland Power on Kenmount Road to await the official go-ahead from honourary ride chairman, and VOCM Cabin Party host, Brian O’Connell, himself a prostate cancer survivor.

The final tally of money raised during this year’s Ride for Dad has yet be announced, but all proceeds go toward continued cancer research.
