A woman has been arrested after another woman was assaulted before seeking refuge in a vehicle.
The incident played out shortly before midnight Monday at Whalen’s Gate in Corner Brook.
After the assault, the accused chased the victim until she jumped into a vehicle. The accused then smashed a side window with her fist. She left the scene in a vehicle just before RNC officers arrived. They caught up with her a short timer later on Curling Street and arrested her without incident.
She has been charged with assault and property damage and will be back in court in September.
