A 39-year-old Blaketown man has been charged with attempted murder after what police are calling “a number of violent assaults” against another person.
RCMP say the incidents occurred between April and June of this year, with the most recent happening this past Tuesday.
Adam Budgell was arrested the same day and is facing a number of charges including attempted murder, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats and breach of probation.
The victim is believed to be a woman who is known to the accused.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case.
