A person who tried to get information on the types, cost and amount of chemicals being used at the Aquarena has been denied by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Memorial University, which owns the facility, did not provide any records, saying the Memorial University Recreation Complex was not a public body as defined by ATIPPA. In any case, MUN did not have the records.
The Privacy Commission office agreed with Memorial on both counts.
