Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 74-year-old man who went missing from Twillingate on Canada Day.

Officers are searching for 74-year-old Robert Beauline who was last seen in the community July 1. His vehicle was located in Fairbanks on July 2.

An extensive search was launched in the area of his vehicle.

A ground search was conducted by Exploits Search and rescue and RCMP Police Dogs, as well as aerial searches by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and Provincial Emergency Services. The Canadian Coast Guard have also checked the coast line, but have not turned up any sign of Beauline. Ground and aerial searches are continuing.

Anyone with information into the whereabouts of Robert Beauline is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
