Looking for something new to watch?
A locally-produced television show has been picked up by Bell for subscribers to Bell’s Fibe TV1 channel.
Writer and producer Stephen Cadigan says Berries for Sale focuses on a tiny Newfoundland community facing a resettlement vote. In desperation, one of the residents turns to an LA talk show host for help in saving the town.

Cadigan says he was inspired by a number of recent events in the news.
“Two things” got Cadigan’s creative juices flowing—the recent resettlement votes in Little Bay Islands and Gaultois, and late-night US television host Jimmy Kimmel being named honourary mayor of Dildo.
All seven episodes are now available on Bell’s Fibe TV1 channel 1 in Eastern Canada and Manitoba, and Cadigan says there is room in the story for more episodes if necessary.
