The Town of Wabush is gearing up to welcome home faces both new and old.
Come Home To Wabush gets underway on July 22 with a parade, followed by a week full of events for all ages and interests.
With pandemic cancellations, committee chair Karmela Briggs says the upcoming festival has been three years in the making.
She says anticipation is growing as hundreds prepare to make their way back home to Wabush.
She says their registration for select events has been maxed out at nearly 400 people. Despite that, Briggs says most of the events are open to the public with no registration required and invites everyone to come out and celebrate.
Come Home to Wabush runs from July 22-29 with a full list of events available online.
