The City of Mount Pearl says they’re all for welcoming ride-sharing services such as Uber to the region.
Mayor Dave Aker says they’re working alongside the City of St. John’s in efforts to bring the service to the area in the near future.
He says they’ve already written the minister responsible and are a part of the conversation.
“Bring it on,” says the mayor. He says if there is more that can be done to improve city transit, he’s all for bringing a safe and efficient option into the community.
