One of the most anticipated music festivals of the summer has announced its opening night lineup, filled with some of the biggest names this province has to offer.
The Churchill Park Music Festival kick-off on August 11 will feature local artists The Punters, Celtic Connection, Rum Ragged, Irish Descendants, and the Masterless Men.
The night will start what’s already a stacked festival with back-to-back weekends of shows.
The next night will see headliners The Lumineers joined by The Cold War Kids, TALK, and Fortunate Ones.
The following weekend will see Alanis Morissette headline both nights, with Metric and Meg Myers on night one, and Feist and Meg Myers on night two.
Tickets for the kick-off show go on sale Monday at noon.
