A new comedy play hitting the stage this week at the LSPU Hall.
The Heart Play, written and directed by Marie Pike, tells the story of Venus, a character living in a two-dimensional world navigates the aftermath of losing her Nan. After being stricken with grief, Venus finds herself trapped inside a black hole and face to face with her own heart.
The 70 minute play uses the concept of only two dimensions to reflect on a person’s inner world with a fun story and lighthearted visuals.
The show runs from July 27 to July 29 at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee on July 30 at 2:00 p.m. There will also be a livestreamed performance on July 29.
