The Conception Bay Museum in Harbour Grace is celebrating the birthday of one of the most important figures in aviation history today.
Amelia Earhart was born on July 24, 1897.
Earhart has a special connection to the town as it was the starting point of her solo trans-Atlantic flight in 1932.
The museum is celebrating her birthday today from 1 to 3 p.m.
