A leading landscape architecture, engineering, planning and design firm has received an award for its work on the Royal St. John’s Regatta Winner’s Circle.

Tract Consulting Inc. received the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects National Award for Small-Scale Public Landscapes.

The Winners Circle is a landscape revitalization project that re-imagines the public park plaza and event space to enhance year-round enjoyment of Quidi Vidi Lake, improve functionality and celebrate North America’s Longest-running sporting event. The circle has become the focal point of post-race activities at the Regatta.

Tract, located in St. John’s, was established in 1998.
