Seniors in Flatrock are getting a new walking track.

The federal government has announced over $12,000 for the initiative.

The town will use the money to build the outdoor track, which will help support the healthy aging of seniors in the area.

Marg Parsons of the local 50 plus club is “overjoyed” to have the new track.

She says the trail will provide a level of comfort for people as it will keep them off the roads.
