A local group is serving up beginner lessons for one of the fastest growing sports in North America.
In honour of National Pickleball Day, Pickleball Newfoundland is hosting beginners clinic from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Torbay Commons.
The cost for those looking to try the tennis-like sport is $10.
Free group pickleball matches will be taking place throughout the afternoon starting at 12:30 p.m..
Sessions must be booked through the town’s website and anyone participating is asked to bring a non-perishable food donation to attend.
