Holy Heart Theatre is gearing up to welcome one of Canada’s most coveted artists from the 1970s-90s.

Lawrence Gowan, known for his hits ‘Strange Animal’, ‘Criminal Mind’ and ‘Moonlight Desires’, will play two nights in the capital city on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Gowan is also known for his role as a member of the soft-rock band Styx, but has had success as a solo artist, especially in Canada, with four platinum and three gold album certifications.

He recently took to Facebook to share a play on words on his name in comparison to the popular Newfoundland phrase “Go’ wan”.
