The Innu Nation has a new Grand Chief.
Innu Nation elections were held yesterday and former Natuashish band council chief Simon Pokue has been elected as the new Grand Chief. He replaces Etienne Rich who was elected to the position in 2020.
Deputy Grand Chief is Christopher Rich of Sheshatshiu.
