Parents are busy getting ready for the start of the school year in just a few weeks’ time. It’s an especially exciting time for families of children going to school for the very first time.
NLTA President Trent Langdon, a former guidance counsellor, says it’s a special right of passage for families and he suggests getting into a routine starting now to help students prepare.
Langdon says getting used to early bedtime and wake up times is something that will take time, so he suggests getting into those routines earlier rather than later.
