The Northpine Foundation is offering financial support to the Big Feed Grocery Delivery Club to help expand services in rural communities.
Big Feed uses the existing provincial transportation network to cut costs and carbon emissions in the distribution of grocery items.
It partners with public transit systems to ensure the timely and affordable transport of produce and essential goods.
The Northpine Foundation is providing $500,000 to Big Feed which is actively trying to establish agreements with local food hubs, collaborate with more transit groups, and create intake programs for locally-produced foods.
We've been keeping it under our hat, but today, it's official! @NorthpineCanada today announced a $500,000 investment in the Big Feed Club! 🥳
A HUGE thank you to North Pine for the vote of confidence! 🎉
Stay tuned for our expansion news 😊https://t.co/XTDaJb0tfi
