The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed that human remains found on August 13 near Marche’s Point on the west coast as missing man Tyler Hennessey.
Hennessey was first reported missing on September 30 of last year. On October 1, his vehicle was found abandoned near Marche’s Point.
An extensive search effort was carried out at the time.
The investigation is continuing. The RCMP is expressing its condolences to the family and friends of Hennessey
