A Newfoundlander and Labradorian has cracked the shortlist for the 2023 World Mayor Prize.
Tony Keats, the Mayor of Dover since 1996, is one of just 25 mayors shortlisted for the World Mayor Prize and Awards. Keats is the only Canadian to make the shortlist.
Presented by the City Mayors Foundation, this year’s Prize and Awards will be given to mayors and cities who are committed to form friendships and partnerships, as well as cooperate with towns and cities at home and across boarders.
