The provincial government is now covering the cost of drivers’ medicals for those 75 years of age or older.

The up to $100 in reimbursement is retroactive to April 1 of 2023.

Seniors must provide a receipt indicating that an age-related Drivers’ Medical Exam was provided and paid for on or after April 1. Examinations not related to age, as well as all examinations before April the 1 are not covered.

Those eligible must fill out a reimbursement form and mail it with the physician’s receipt.
