A man has been arrested in metro following a hit at run in the early morning hours.
Around 12:30 this morning, the RNC responded to a report of unknown trouble in Kilbride when they discovered there had been an accident.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with impaired operation, and failure to remain at the scene of an accident.
The man’s driver’s licence was suspended and he was released to appear in court at a later date.
The matter is still under investigation.
