Former St. John’s city councillor Jonathan Galgay has resigned from his position as the Chief Administrative Officer with the Town of Placentia.

Galgay had served in the position since December of 2021. He previously served as the CAO with the town of Twillingate.

In a statement to VOCM News Galgay says he is continuing to build his career in public service and is pursuing other opportunities.

Galgay says he leaves the town on good terms, and he looks “forward to what the future holds.”
