The minister of energy says he has never uttered the term “hydrogen pipeline” before and assures that nothing along those lines is being considered.
The Independent published a story about talk in provincial government circles to build a hydrogen pipeline in Labrador to transport energy to the island.
Minister Andrew Parsons says that’s not the case. The idea came from a consultant but is not part of their energy planning. He says Newfoundland and Labrador has to sell itself to the rest of the world and part of that promotion involves energy resources.
