It’s the season to break out the red noses and perfect your juggling skills—CircusFest is official underway in the capital city.
The St. John’s International CircusFest, presented by Wonderbolt Productions, brings together circus performers from around the globe for performances and workshops across the capital city. Main stage shows will be running at the LSPU Hall and the Arts and Culture’s Centre.
Artistic Executive Director, Beni Malone, says the city is filling up with “crazy circus people” and you can feel the energy.
He says its a very important event for the circus industry in the country. They have acts in from across Canada, as well as Germany, the United States and Ukraine.
Performances are already up and running, with the opening soiree taking place tonight at the Sheraton Hotel at 8:30 p.m.
