Terra Bruce’s chief operating officer, Bob Hallett, spread the thanks around during yesterday’s event, being careful not to claim full ownership of the Majestic.
“We at Terra Bruce do not really feel ourselves to be the owners of this wonderful building, we are merely the custodians,” he said. “We are charged with fixing it, polishing it, improving it, but once again filling it with life and art and creativity. And if we have done our job right here in the last two years, maybe 100 years from now another generation of this city’s entertainers will say, we did a good job.”
The first show at the re-invented Majestic Theatre is The Wild Rovers, which runs through till October 1st.
