Newfoundland and Labrador is renowned the world-over for its rich history of comedy.

Embracing that lineage, a group of artists, comedians and community members across the province has created NL’s first Sketch Comedy Festival.

Bailey Jackson, board member of NL Sketch Festival, says the goal of the event is to create a space for the comedy community in the province to grow, learn and share ideas.

Details for the inaugural festival, expected for April of 2024, will be launched in October, with organizers launching its official social media accounts, which will share updates on the festival, and highlight our comedic history.
