Cervical Screening Day comes up next month, so NL Health Services is doing a special screening to mark the occasion.
The eastern-urban zone of NL Health Services will offer pap tests to women on Saturday, October 14 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s. The tests run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and require an appointment by calling 709-777-3018 or 709-777-7460.
About one in ten may have an abnormal result from pap testing. Clients with abnormal results will be contacted for follow-up.
