A 33-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a vehicle was taken from Piccadilly last Friday morning.
Police say the accused, who was on parole, took a vehicle without consent and fled from police who attempted to pull him over in Stephenville.
The vehicle was located a short time later parked outside a home. The driver, who police say showed signs of impairment, was arrested, but refused to provide breath samples.
Police say a number of charges are pending including refusing to provide breath samples, flight from police, dangerous driving, taking a vehicle without consent and breach of probation.
