COVID infections are on the rise in Newfoundland and Labrador, albeit slightly according to the official numbers.
Confirmed cases have been rising slowly, but steadily, since the end of July with four deaths reported over the last month and 42 hospitalizations since the end of August.
Eight patients were in critical care over the course of the current reporting period.
The COVID dashboard is only updated once a month, with the latest stats released last week.
