The vice chair of the Fluvarium Board says they have already been inundated with calls inquiring about spaces at the new daycare they’re opening up.
The organization hopes that Lilypad Early Learning Childcare Centre will be open by the spring of next year.
Their upstairs event space is being renovated to accommodate the new venture. The centre will offer 55 spaces for children aged 18 months up to 5 years 9 months at $10-a-day.
Charlie Byrne says they have received a lot of calls and Facebook messages from eager parents wanting to know more about the facility.
While they appreciate the enthusiasm, Byrne says they aren’t taking names yet and encourages people to follow along on social media for updates.
