The newly-expanded skate park in Grand Falls-Windsor was officially opened last evening.

The park’s new features include a pump track, and different variations of bank ramps, quarter pipes, grind rails, boxes and wedges.

The total cost of the project was just over $488,000, shared among the federal, provincial and municipal governments.
