The Town of Paradise will be playing a major role in the upcoming 2025 Canada Summer Games.
The town will play host to two sports during the games—beach volleyball at Paradise Park, and lacrosse at the Paradise Double Ice Complex.
The excitement was evident on the face of Mayor Dan Bobbett as he made the announcement.
Bobbett says as a community partner, the town will play a pivotal role in the execution of the games.
He says the efforts they are putting into the event will leave a “lasting legacy” on the town.
He says their facilities will have the standards for national sporting events, their athletes can watch and participate in the games in their hometown, and businesses will reap the benefits of hundreds of athletes and spectators coming to town.
