More news in the world of NL’s senior hockey landscape.
The Corner Brook Royals have joined the Central-West Senior Hockey League (CWSHL) and have announced a new management team.
The new-look Royals announced a coaching and executive staff that includes President Rick Crane, vice-president Chris Grant and treasurer Cory Chubbs.
Andrew Stagg, representative for the club, says the organization enters the league with a renewed sense of purpose, and a commitment to fostering local talent and promoting the sport of hockey within their community.
Newly appointed president Crane adds that the club’s goal is to create a winning culture that entertains fans and gives their players an opportunity to reach their full potential.
The move is the latest shakeup in NL’s senior hockey world, following the move of the Deer Lake Red Wings from the West Coast Senior Hockey League to the CWSHL this past September.
