Appointments have now opened up for the fall COVID and influenza booster campaigns.
Both of those shots can be administered at the same time.
The COVID booster focuses specifically on the latest Omicron variant in circulation XBB.1.5.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says getting vaccinated is the best way to minimize the effects of both viruses.
Anyone aged six months and older can get the shots, so long as it has been at least six months since their last COVID vaccine or infection.
Appointments can be booked via the Time For The Shot website.
Vaccines are also available through local pharmacies and physicians.
