A woman who had a total of 14 warrants out for her arrests is now in custody.

RNC located the 33-year-old in the centre city area mid-afternoon yesterday.

Most of the warrants were for theft, however she became combative with officers when they tried to take her in. She has been charged resisting arrest, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failing to comply with court orders.

The accused was held in the lockup overnight.
