The first shots will be administered today for the province’s fall booster campaign for both COVID-19 and influenza.
Both vaccines are recommended for anyone over six months old, provided they have not had a COVID infection or shot in the last six months.
People can book appointments online, or by contacting their local pharmacy or physician.
People who are frail or homebound also have the option of booking a home visit to get their jab. Toll free numbers have been set up to arrange those visits.
