Montreal film maker Adrian Wills was born at St. Clare’s hospital in St. John’s, and was adopted to a Montreal couple. His film explores the scant information provided in his adoption record which only described his birth mother as “a quiet girl,” and documents his journey to Newfoundland to find his birth family.

Greenspond, which is an important location in Wills’ family history, is where the next screening will take place on Tuesday, October 24th at St. Stephen’s Parish Hall. It will be featured at the Nickel Independent Film Festival at the Rooms on October 27.
